Kyra Ja’e

Kyra J’ae is an urban singer/songwriter from Ipswich, Suffolk. Her contemporary and suave approach to bass heavy pop music signifies her style as a unique emerging artist for 2012.

Influenced by a musical family of singers and DJs, Kyra J’ae blends popular and underground music in delivering her individual take on the UK urban scene. Kyra began singing as a child and recorded her first demo at the age of 11.

Kyra J’ae was spotted by local reggae artist YT and alongside producer Nat Clarkson was amazed by her performance. She continued to perform her modern, soulful vocals on a number of mixtapes with local grime producers and MC’s and has appeared at several local festivals and shows.

After joining Ambiel Music officially in 2010, Kyra J’ae and producer NJC have collaborated on several pop tracks and are continuing to develop music for debut album. Her first single “Bruised” will be released in early 2012.
