How long have you been making music – when did you start to write your first songs?

Approximately fifteen glorious years or so

What software and hardware do you use when making music?

Logic Express, Le Saffire soundcard, assorted bass/guitars/handheld percussion

Who do you work with (Producers, engineers, managers)?

NJC aka Nat Clarkson aka Blox,

Where have you recorded your music (studios, home studio)?

It’s a Home studio I like to call Snug Studio’s

What music do you listen to for inspiration with you creative process?

I listen to numerous genres from multiple eras. I’m partial to innovative Hip-hop, vintage reggae, and eerie electronica. I like space in my music, a deep groove and artists willing to try new things.

Do you download or buy physical?  Why?

I last bought physical about a couple of years ago, now I download. Why? Because I’m trying to de-clutter my life.

What’s the latest news and can we expect any new music soon?

Well I’ve been working on a bunch of compositions at Snug, It’s early days for me, recording and working in this way after years on the live circuit in transit vans and sweaty venues. I’m enjoying the freedom and these demos are helping me find a voice and if the idea and music are strong it progresses to Ambiel headquarters to create a finished piece. ‘Get Rich Quick’ is the first single from this batch. More to follow.

What’s the most random gig you’ve ever done?

A University May Ball with tuxedo’s, ballgowns, sick on bouncy castles and bad tribute acts…living the dream.
