“Kerse Da Verse” is the first insight into the album due in October 2011and comes featuring up-and-coming rapper Cosha Don. The two Ipswich MCs accompany a macabre video showcasing the first single in a twisted fashion set to haunt Autumn 2011.

The video begins with Voodoo Browne entwined in the beginnings of a demonic ritual enslaving recruits into his voodoo following of MCs. As Cosha Don is lured into the scene Voodoo delivers an aggressive verse encompassing his style and urban wordplay. After his admission to Voodoo’s Zombie following of rappers Cosha Don compliments and contrasts with a launched double-time delivery.

We caught up with Voodoo in his castle of doom and asked him to explain the KDV concept further:

“Kerse Da Verse is about what I do, why I do it and how I got my name. When I started rapping I didn’t really have a game name straight away. I used to use my street name margah. Back in the day some people would say I put them in a curse when I rap or put a spell on the beat. I wanted a dark sounding name to match my cousins DJ name ‘Vendetta’ so I thought Voodoo Man! Went with my style and my cousins DJ name! “

When asking him directly about the track and what its message was he went on to say ”It’s basically a lyrical attack. A kind of battle lyric. Representing my swag on a rolling hip hop riddem. Giving everyone a lickle taster. So if ya feelin me give me a Vee”
